Anyone using an elbow brace, maybe something for tennis elbow?
Or regular hot baths, or massage therapy?
What do you guys do that works for your aching elbow?

I've got knee problems so I wear medium duty braces when I work. It keeps them from getting worse. I think a brace would be the best thing. Most of the time the ache comes from straining the tendons and the support of the brace can alieviate that along w/ some advil to keep the swelling down.

I need a brace for my wallet. You know, something to help keep from stretching the tendens...

Excellent reminder, sunup. I hear that the type w/ chondroitin in it is the best for joints.

With any Aches & Pains there are several products available,i like Tiger Balm works pretty good.

When your dealing with any kind of Inflammation best advice i can give is dont just go for the Heat ie: hot showers & heating balms.Too much heat causes the Inflammation to get worse.

Heat it up then Ice it down,or alternate one day heating balm or whatever then the next day maybe a good ice'n down.

You really should try and rest it (preferably on the weekends) they do sell braces for tennis elbow it goes right below the elbow on the forearm to give it support.

Its basically inflammation of the elbow ie: tendons etc. Alot of tennis & baseball players (pitchers) get it.

I had this tennis elbow for a few weeks two years ago. I tried the brace thing and it worked well enough for me. I neede two since one gets dirty and starts to really stink sort of fast.

I also am a big fan of icey hot. I have tried tons of the ointments and balms and for me...icy hot works so well.

Biggest thing I have learned though is listening to my body and knowing when to quit...at least for fifteen or twenty minutes..or the day.

I've had sore wrists, knees, shoulders, and elbows. Too me it's part of it, but if you work out them areas and make them stronger your body will thank you. Now at 45 I work as my body allows. No more 10 hr. days 5 days a week. Remember you shoulders were not build too be above your head, (pole work) so give them a break.
